Privacy Policy
Effective September 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how BuildLogIQ Group, Inc. (“BuildLogIQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit buildlogiq.ai, contact us, use a free tool, receive our emails, participate in a BuildLogIQ program or community, or use our services.
A particular service may also be governed by an order form, statement of work, membership agreement, data-processing agreement, or other written agreement. If that agreement contains different or additional privacy terms, those terms control for that service.

1. Information we collect
Information you give us
Depending on how you interact with BuildLogIQ, we may collect:
- Contact and professional information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, company, job title, and professional profile;
- Communications, including contact-form messages, email correspondence, questions, feedback, and records of our conversations;
- Recordings and derived content, including your voice, image, screen name, statements, chat messages, transcripts, captions, notes, and summaries when a call, meeting, webinar, workshop, interview, or program session is recorded;
- Tool and program information, such as results you choose to email to yourself, survey responses, resource requests, membership or program information, and event participation;
- Service information, including business information, documents, and other materials you provide while using an advisory or technology service; and
- Transaction and administration information, such as billing details, payment status, agreements, and account information when applicable. Payment-card information may be collected directly by a payment processor rather than by BuildLogIQ.
Information collected automatically
When you use our website, we and the providers that operate and secure it may collect IP address, browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP address, referring page, pages visited, links selected, access time, session information, and security or diagnostic data. This information is used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and understand how the site performs.
Information from other sources
We may receive business or professional information from referrals, program participants, service providers, event partners, public professional sources, and platforms that you authorize to provide information to us.
If we combine information that does not identify you on its own with information that does identify or can reasonably be linked to you, we treat the combined information as personal information under this Policy.
Aggregated and de-identified information
We may aggregate or de-identify information so that it cannot reasonably be linked to you, your company, or another identifiable person. We may use properly aggregated or de-identified information to operate, evaluate, secure, and improve our services; conduct research; develop educational materials and industry insights; and understand patterns relevant to the businesses we serve. We will maintain de-identified information in de-identified form and will not attempt to reidentify it except as permitted or required by law. We will not present aggregated or de-identified information in a manner that reveals your identity or your company’s confidential information.
2. Free tools and emailed results
BuildLogIQ’s current browser-based self-check tools do not require you to create an account or upload business records. The Contractor Control Self-Check temporarily stores your answers in your browser’s session storage so that the tool can work while the browser session remains open. BuildLogIQ does not receive those answers merely because you complete the tool.
If you ask us to email your results, your email address and the generated results are sent to BuildLogIQ’s email service provider for delivery. Choosing to receive your results does not subscribe you to marketing unless you separately select that option and confirm the subscription.
3. Sensitive and regulated information
Unless BuildLogIQ has specifically requested the information through an approved method and a written agreement permits it, do not submit Social Security numbers, payment-card authentication data, protected health information, account passwords, classified information, or other highly sensitive or regulated information through our website, email, free tools, communities, or services. You are responsible for making sure you are authorized to provide information about another person or organization.
4. How we use information
We may use personal information to:
- provide, operate, secure, and improve our website, free tools, programs, communities, advisory work, and technology;
- review and respond to inquiries and determine whether BuildLogIQ’s services may be a fit;
- maintain customer-relationship and business records;
- deliver requested resources, self-check results, service messages, and confirmed email subscriptions;
- administer applications, memberships, events, transactions, and agreements;
- record, transcribe, summarize, deliver, and document calls, meetings, webinars, workshops, interviews, and program sessions as described below;
- understand performance and usage, troubleshoot problems, and develop offerings;
- detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity;
- protect our rights and the rights, safety, and integrity of others;
- comply with legal, tax, accounting, contractual, and regulatory obligations; and
- send marketing communications where permitted. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
Submitting an inquiry, requesting a resource, or participating in a service does not by itself enroll you in marketing. When we offer a separate marketing choice, we use your information for that purpose only in a manner consistent with your selection, applicable law, and this Policy. You may withdraw from marketing communications at any time.
5. Service providers and other disclosures
We disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Providers supporting the current website include:
- Cloudflare, which supports website delivery, hosting, and security, including Turnstile bot and abuse prevention;
- Resend, which delivers contact-form messages, requested results, subscription confirmations, and other email communications; and
- Apollo, which supports customer-relationship management. Information submitted through our contact form—including your contact details, company, role, area of interest, and message—may be entered into that system.
We may change providers as our services evolve. We may also disclose information to providers supporting payments, video conferencing, recording, transcription, captioning, document management, data storage, analytics, information technology, security, accounting, legal, insurance, and other professional or business functions. These providers may process information on our behalf to perform their services.
We may also disclose information:
- at your direction or with your consent;
- to other members or participants when you choose to participate in a program where that sharing is reasonably expected;
- to comply with law, legal process, or enforceable governmental requests;
- to investigate misuse or protect rights, safety, security, and service integrity; or
- in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate protections.
6. AI and automated tools
Some BuildLogIQ services may use artificial intelligence or automated tools to organize information, identify patterns, prepare drafts, or support analysis. When you provide information for one of these services, BuildLogIQ and service providers involved in delivering the feature may process that information for the applicable purpose.
The public BuildLogIQ website does not currently provide a public AI chatbot or ask visitors to upload records directly into an AI model. AI use in a paid or private engagement may be governed by additional written terms or engagement instructions addressing permitted information, providers, access, retention, and human review.
AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate. BuildLogIQ does not treat automated output as a substitute for professional judgment and does not use website information to make decisions about individuals based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
7. Recordings, transcripts, and public use
BuildLogIQ may record and transcribe calls, meetings, webinars, workshops, interviews, and program or community sessions. Before recording begins, we will provide notice and obtain consent when required by applicable law. If you do not want to be recorded, do not join or remain in the recorded session and contact BuildLogIQ to ask whether a reasonable alternative is available.
Recordings and related transcripts, captions, notes, and summaries may be used to provide the applicable service, make a replay or materials available to the intended participants, document decisions and follow-up items, support accessibility, maintain business records, and improve BuildLogIQ’s programs, materials, and service quality. We may use automated transcription or summarization tools for these purposes; generated transcripts and summaries may contain errors and should be reviewed before being relied upon.
A recording of a private or member session does not make the session public. BuildLogIQ will not publicly identify a participant, use an identifiable recording or quotation in marketing, or distribute a private-session recording outside its intended audience without separate permission, except when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or service integrity. Participants may not make or distribute their own recordings except with BuildLogIQ’s and all required participants’ authorization.
Client names, testimonials, and case studies
Providing information, materials, or feedback so that BuildLogIQ can respond to an inquiry or deliver a service does not by itself authorize public marketing use. Except for material you have already made public and that applicable law permits us to use, BuildLogIQ will not publicly identify you as a client, member, or participant or use your name, company name, logo, testimonial, photograph, video, case study, or identifiable engagement results in advertising or public marketing without documented permission or a written agreement that specifically authorizes the use.
8. Cookies, browser storage, and analytics
Our website uses technologies that are necessary to operate forms, maintain a browser session, remember limited tool progress, and protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare Turnstile may process device, interaction, and network information when a protected form is submitted.
As of the effective date above, we do not intentionally use third-party advertising cookies on the public website. We may use limited analytics to understand page views, referral sources, reading or interaction patterns, and site performance. If we introduce a materially different tracking practice, we will update this Policy and provide choices when required.
You can use browser controls to delete or limit cookies and browser storage. Disabling necessary technologies may prevent forms or tools from working correctly.
9. Sale, behavioral advertising, and browser signals
BuildLogIQ does not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms may be defined under applicable law. Because we do not currently engage in those practices, we do not offer a separate sale-or-sharing opt-out link.
Our website does not currently respond to legacy “Do Not Track” signals because there is no uniform standard for interpreting them. If a legally recognized opt-out preference signal applies to our practices, we will process it as required by applicable law.
10. Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legitimate business, security, legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs. The retention period depends on the type of information and the relationship:
- contact inquiries and related customer-relationship records are kept while an inquiry or business relationship is active and for a reasonable follow-up and recordkeeping period afterward;
- email subscription information is kept until you unsubscribe or the subscription is otherwise ended, although we may retain limited suppression information to honor an unsubscribe request;
- emailed tool results may remain in email-delivery and business communication records until those records are deleted under our normal retention practices;
- recordings, transcripts, captions, notes, and summaries are kept for the period reasonably necessary for the session’s intended purpose, participant access, service delivery, quality review, recordkeeping, and applicable legal obligations;
- client, program, membership, transaction, and agreement records are kept according to the applicable agreement and relevant business, tax, accounting, and legal requirements; and
- technical and security information is kept according to operational needs and provider settings.
We may keep information longer when necessary for a legal hold, dispute, investigation, security incident, or legal obligation. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. We also rely on service providers to protect information they process for us. No system, storage method, or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Your choices and privacy rights
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message. You will still receive nonmarketing communications that are necessary to respond to a request, deliver a requested item, administer an account or service, or address a transaction or security matter.
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request access to, correction or deletion of, or a portable copy of certain personal information. You may also have rights to object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, or appeal our response to a request.
To make a request, email hello@buildlogiq.ai with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. Describe your request and your relationship with BuildLogIQ. We may need to verify your identity or authority before acting. We will respond as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right protected by law.
13. Children’s privacy
BuildLogIQ’s website and services are intended for business professionals and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
14. Third-party websites and services
Our website may link to websites or services that BuildLogIQ does not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices and terms. Review those materials before providing information to them.
15. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised Policy and update the effective date. When appropriate, we may provide additional notice of a material change.
